Future Sun Insurance ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through futuresuninsurance.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us, mainly through the quote request form:

• Your name, email address and phone number
• Your province, state or country
• The type of insurance you are interested in and any details you add, such as shipment routes or cargo values

Our web server also keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and to keep the site running.

How we use it

• To prepare and send you insurance quotes and answer your questions
• To arrange coverage you ask for and support you with claims
• To keep the website secure and working properly

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

To get you a quote or arrange coverage, we share the details you provide with insurers and underwriters. We also use service providers for website hosting and email. They may only use your information to provide those services to us.

Cookies and third-party services

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers. If you choose a language other than English, the page is translated by Google Translate, which sends the page text to Google. If you install the Future Sun app, your device stores a copy of the app's files so it opens quickly.

How long we keep it

We keep quote requests and related correspondence only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law and insurance regulations.

How we protect it

The site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and access to your information is limited to the people who need it to serve you.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to its use, subject to legal and contractual limits. To make a request, email contact@futuresuninsurance.com.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
